Calponia's basic functions include project and team management as well as administration of resources, files, tasks, equipment and a calendar view.

These functions are interconnected and can be used project-related and simultaneously. They ensure that added value is created and risks are reduced in every project right from the start.

Home

Overview of tasks and resources
Here you will find an overview of the tasks, resources, the services belonging to the project and the latest changes. Either all tasks or only those assigned to the user can be displayed.
In the "Resources" area you can select whether the resources or the equipment should be displayed.

Create and assign
The home overview also makes it possible to create tasks, equipment and resources easily and to assign them to the responsible persons.

Resources

Manage
In this section, you can create and manage resources as for example vehicles. For each resource, you have an overview of the installed equipment, bookings, related tasks, files and the respective attributes.
The “Versioning” function allows you to track the history of the resources with the various changes.

Grouping
For an easier resource management, you can assign them to different groups. Different attributes can then be added to each group individually.

Display
The overview of all resources of the project and their groups can be given different attributes.
To find individual resources quickly, you can search for their names or the values of the attributes.

Calendar

Create a calendar
The calendar provides an overview of the transactions of specific or all resources. The view can be changed according to daily, weekly or monthly view.
For a better overview, you can assign different colors to the resources.

Working with the calendar
In the calendar you can book resources either by dragging and dropping the "Tasks to plan" into the calendar or by manually creating new bookings using "Create Booking". A responsible person can then be directly assigned to the bookings.

Tasks

Manage
In the "Task" area, you can create tasks, link them to resources and assign them to responsible persons. You can define a duration and a due date for the tasks and, if necessary, add notes with more information about the task.

View
In the overview, you can sort the tasks by status, title, responsible, resource, duration, priority or due date. To find a specific task faster, you can also search by its name.

Equipment

Manage
In this area, you can create equipment and assign it to certain resources and software versions. You can create your own attributes for the equipment and display linked files.

Display
The overview of the entire equipment of the project can be individually provided with attributes. To find equipment more easily, you can search for the name or values of the attributes.
To increase the transparency, the equipment can also be assigned to different groups.

Files

Manage
In the Files section, you can upload various files and measurement data. These files can be assigned to resources with their different versions, specific equipment or specific tasks.

Display
For a better overview, it is possible to organize the files in folders. You can sort the files by name, creation date or file size.

Applications

For what?
In the Application Area, you have the possibility to integrate Services for individual, project-specific use cases. The apps of the services can either be downloaded from the App Store or developed for your own use case in Calponia.

From where?
The available services are partly provided by the Bosch Engineering GmbH, partly from customers or from third parties, and can be purchased with various license models. Typical service areas include data analysis, collaboration, simulation, software development and many others.

Projects

Manage Projects
In this area, you can create and select projects and a complete overview of all of them is provided. Additionally, projects can be searched by using the search function. Via "Settings" you can edit various project properties, such as the project resources.

Manage team members
For each project, the team members and their different roles are listed. Of course, you can also add or remove team members or change their roles here.

Show activities
The date and time of the last activity are displayed here.
